When working on the soundboard, a common question that I get asked is “where can I find laser cut roses for the soundhole?”

Basically, I just buy them from two main sources:
1. Folkcraft: they have a number of designs available, each in a variety of woods, such as Maple (cream colored), Walnut (dark brown), and Padauk (orange).
2. Musicmaker’s: their roses are cut from baltic birch plywood (hence only one color), but they do have a variety of interesting designs to choose from.
